Our Home for the Holidays 2025
It's time to soften the corners of winter days, to build warmth on purpose, to choose joy with both hands.
I’ve realized — slowly, sweetly, as I get older — that the holiday magic I remember so vividly from childhood was never an accident. The warm glow, the “everything feels enchanted” quality wasn’t nostalgia trying to trick me into believing in better days are those that have gone by. It was the adults in my life — let’s just say it, the women in my life — crafting magic through home, patience, and attention. The magic was intentional. Curated. Made with love.
And now, I understand it is my turn. Not to replicate it perfectly — but to continue it. To soften the corners of winter days, to build warmth on purpose, to choose joy with both hands. To be the quiet maker of magic.
Even though it is only early November, the moment I began placing stockings on the mantle and letting the first few shimmer lights of the season play, my heart softened. Everything felt quieter; gentle; a bit more golden around the edges. It’s alchemical.
This season, I’ve partnered with Frontgate to welcome a few new pieces into our home — not to replace the story that already lives here, but to join it. Their craftsmanship and warmth feel beautifully in conversation with the heirlooms we’ve cherished for years: the books that have watched over a decade of glittering Christmas mornings, the serving pieces that seem to have always belonged to our table, the ornaments holding tiny, quiet stories only we can tell. Together, they create a feeling that is layered, lived-in, and tender.
Below, you’ll find the details of what’s woven throughout our home this year — the touches of sparkle, texture, and tradition that shape the rooms where we gather, laugh, linger, and return to ourselves.
But please know, whatever materials things you have inside, I hope most that your home this holiday season feels gentle and golden: a place where the light lingers, the conversation simmers, and the joy settles in.
