Welcome to the first edition of The Receipt Report — a monthly(ish) rundown and review of the very best things I’ve acquired recently. Consider this equal parts audit and applause: what earned its place, what exceeded expectation, and what I would repurchase without blinking.
Included in this Report:
An ultra-flattering throw and go frock
A book I actually paid for (as a library borrowing purist)
An unglamorous Amazon find that delivers disproportionate joy
And now — the receipts:

Hill House Scarlett Dress
Romantic but not saccharine. Structured but not stiff. The Scarlett Nap Dress is what I will reach for when I want to look like I tried without actually trying. The silhouette does the heavy lifting — nipped waist, gentle volume, utterly flattering proportions. I have the Chili Red Clip Dot version, but I’m setting my eyes on Pale Blue next.
Tuckernuck Cashmere
I have not-so-quietly become evangelical about Tuckernuck cashmere. The weight is substantial without being bulky, and it holds its shape beautifully. The options are classic with just enough personality in available colors, and I adore the monogramming options for a bespoke micro-lift.
Power Cord Organizer
There is nothing glamorous about cable management — until you no longer see cables. This little organizer eliminated the visual noise beside my nightstand that has been driving me insane, and I cannot overstate the psychological benefit of not staring at a tangle of power cords and wires.
Amazon Oushak Rug
You know I love a high-low moment, and this rug delivers. The pattern reads far more expensive than it is, and, despite going for a brighter design than I typically opt for, it has made our dining room feel layered rather than loud. And, you truly cannot beat the price.
Aritzia Effortless Pant
There is a reason these have cult status. The drape is impeccable — structured enough for meetings, fluid enough for dinner. They elongate the leg in a way that feels architectural rather than trendy.
P.S. I sized up two sizes!
Theo of Golden
Confession: I am an unapologetic cheapskate when it comes to books. I worship at the altar of my Kindle and my library card. I wait for holds. I toggle between Libby and Goodreads like it’s a part-time job. I do not, as a rule, purchase hardcovers.
And yet — this one I bought. Because within a few chapters I knew: This is a book I will reread. This is a book I will underline, dog-ear (gently), revisit in different seasons of life. This is a book I will hand to a daughter or a friend and say, you must.
J.Crew Rollneck
I sized up 2x for that slightly borrowed-from-my-husband ease, and it was the right move. This rollneck feels like settling in to a winter in the Cotswolds, and I am eyeing this green next. This is the piece that will be in your wardrobe for decades to come.
Guest in Residence Wild Rag
This is an accessory that carries the outfit for you. I am absolutely adoring the colorway I selected, but there are so many options available to play with too. I am loving navy/clear sky. You can truly throw this piece over a sweater and instantly feel chic, or wear as a little shawl.

Love your writing, esthetic, & style.
I love this!! Can’t wait for more 💕
