Meet Lauren

Why, Hello There!

I’m Lauren — lawyer by training, writer by conviction, and committed romanticizer of ordinary life.

I believe the world is remarkably beautiful, and I consider it a personal responsibility to notice. My work lives at the intersection of language and living well — poetry and prose alongside the perfect candle, the long lunch that becomes dinner, the book you’ll carry with you for years. Classic in sensibility, unhurried in pace, and unrepentantly fond of champagne al fresco with french fries within reach.

The Lauren Letter is my creative home — essays, poems, book club, and the occasional definitive word on something worth your attention. It is written for curious, cultured women who want to feel more themselves: more romantic about their lives, more at home in their own taste, more seen.

So, pull up a chair — and shall we do a bottle?

The Lauren Letter will always be free. But if this space has become something you look forward to—a small ritual in your week, a source of inspiration, a reminder to approach life with more intention—you now have the option to support it.

The Lauren Letter — my weekly correspondence that holds everything together. Witty, warm, a little editorial, occasionally irreverent.

Love Notes — my poetry, prose, and percolations.

Book Club — one book a month, a proper review, and questions worth sitting with. I cannot wait for us to read together, treating the comments section as our literary salon.

Stories — the longer essays, pop culture and lifestyle reflections, and travel guides.

The Lauren Warrant.

A royal warrant is granted when a supplier has met the standard of a household of taste and discernment. The Lauren Warrant is my version. It is reserved for pieces that carry the full weight of my taste and authority, and it will appear rarely, because rarity is the point. When something genuinely meets my standard — for beauty, for craft, for ethos — it receives it.
