From a girl who is getting riled up for the Tuckernuck sample sale!
Happy Friday!
This week, I’ve been gently meditating on the idea of wonder in the everyday—the quieter awe that lives in routines we usually rush through. Morning light hitting the kitchen counter just right. A familiar walk feeling new. The satisfaction of putting things back where they belong.
My mindset was inspired by a Joy 101 session from earlier this week. Amidst the flurry of a busy morning, I paused long enough to write down a line that felt settled deep into my heart:
“Awe is a gift. And it’s also a practice. When you train your attention toward wonder, joy often follows close behind.”
It’s been shaping how I’ve moved through my days, especially as I am reading Theo of Golden, a novel of a similar thesis. I am trying to linger a little longer, notice a little more, and look up whenever I can.
On a spirited note: the Tuckernuck sample sale is likely just around the corner (if past years are any indication!), and I’ll be sharing plenty to help you prepare! Think: my best shopping tips before it goes live, followed by my top picks once the doors open. Strategic, joyful shopping at its finest!
And if you haven’t yet—there’s still time to enter my Tuckernuck $500 gift card giveaway on Instagram. Wonder, after all, can be found in your closet, too!
Wearing | OPI Red Heads Ahead
I’ve been on a long hunt for my signature red, and this one finally hit. A perfect poppy shade without an orange undertone—classic, confident, and endlessly wearable.
Eating | Zucchini Cheddar Chicken Noodle Casserole
So cozy, so easy, and the perfect salve for the cold nights we’ve been having in Atlanta.
Reading | Theo of Golden by Allen Levi
At its heart, this book is an exercise in noticing. It asks us to consider how many lives brush up against ours without ever fully revealing themselves, and how much meaning lives in the unspoken stories beneath strangers. The novel lingers on the idea that holiness, beauty, and connection aren’t reserved for grand gestures—but are embedded in repetition, observation, and care. That attention itself is a form of devotion. I have seen this book crop up EVERYWHERE lately, and I can already tell it is going to be a top book of 2026!
Watching | Ina Garten Back to Basics
Peak comfort programming. I love having it on in the background while working or cooking. Ina is simply a doll!
Listening | Marcus Mumford, “Cowboy Like Me”
I never skip when I see one of his covers of this Taylor Swift masterpiece. Something about Marcus Mumford’s aching voice on a song he once quietly supported as backing vocals feels especially full-circle. We need a More Marcus version!
Trying | Herb Garden
I’m finally putting my gorgeous Frontgate planter to use—and yes, I enlisted ChatGPT to help me choose the perfect pairings and planting order for our climate and light accessibility. The giddiness I had when I harvested my first fresh herbs while cooking made playing in the dirt worth it!
Champagne | Ginori Large Oval Platter
As a 2020 COVID bride who couldn’t register in person, I played it safe with our china selections—but if I could do it again, I definitely would have selected a Ginori Oriente piece to throw in the mix. I’m still eyeing the matching platter immortalized in a Shannon Woodford piece hanging in our dining room!
Frites | Pavilion Paper Dessert Paper Plates
Perfect for pairing with an elevated charger for a Galentine’s, birthday soirée, or any gathering that deserves a little ceremony without the approval from your financial manager!
